1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and the operator of litzbet (company details will be published here once confirmed). They apply to the website litzbet.be and every page, account feature and bet slip on it.
By creating an account or placing a bet you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is written in English for users in Belgium. All times shown on the site and in these Terms are Brussels time (Europe/Brussels).
Practice mode only. litzbet runs entirely in practice mode. Every balance is held in practice credits ("PC"), a virtual currency with no cash value. You cannot deposit money, you cannot win money and no payment details are ever collected.
2. Who we are and how we are regulated
litzbet is operated by the operator of litzbet. The company name, registered address and registration number will be published here once confirmed. Until then, you can reach us at support@litzbet.be.
Sports betting with real money in Belgium is regulated by the Belgian Gaming Commission (Kansspelcommissie / Commission des jeux de hasard). You can find information about licensed operators and player protection on the Commission's website at www.gamingcommission.be. Licence details for litzbet, if and when applicable, will be published on this page.
3. Who may use litzbet
- You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your date of birth at registration and will not open an account for anyone under 18.
- The site is designed for users in Belgium. Content, help lines and legal references are chosen for Belgian residents.
- You may hold only one account. If we find duplicate accounts belonging to the same person, we may close the extra accounts.
- You must not use the site if you have excluded yourself from gambling, including through the Belgian EPIS exclusion register, or if you have an active time-out or self-exclusion on litzbet.
4. Practice credits
Practice credits exist only to let you place bets and follow how a betting balance behaves. They have no monetary value of any kind.
- A new account starts with a balance of 1,000.00 PC.
- You can add practice credits with a top-up of up to 2,000.00 PC at a time, provided the top-up stays within the top-up limit you have set in your limits.
- You can "withdraw" practice credits. This removes them from your practice balance. The withdrawal shows as pending for about 2 minutes and then as succeeded. No money is sent anywhere.
- Practice credits cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, transferred to another person or withdrawn as money, and they cannot be swapped for goods, services or prizes.
- If your account is closed, any practice credits on it are removed and cannot be restored.
5. Your account and its security
To register you give us your first name, last name, email address and date of birth, choose a password and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Please make sure your details are accurate and keep them up to date.
Your password is stored only as a one-way hash. We cannot see it and we will never ask you for it by email or phone. If you forget it, you can request a reset link. The link is sent to your email address and stays valid for 1 hour. For your privacy, the reset page shows the same message whether or not an account exists for the email you entered.
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account. Log out on shared devices. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and contact support@litzbet.be.
In practice mode we do not ask you to upload identity documents and we do not use an identity verification provider.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use litzbet only for your own personal, non-commercial use. In particular you must not:
- use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated tools to read data from the site or to place bets;
- try to overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or other users' accounts;
- exploit errors in prices, results or balances instead of reporting them;
- send abusive, threatening or unlawful messages to our support team;
- open accounts for other people or let others use your account.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account, void affected bets and remove practice credits gained through the breach.
7. The simulated sports feed
The fixtures on litzbet use the names of real competitions, teams and players. However, kick-off times, live scores, results and prices are generated for practice play. They do not follow real matches, and an event shown on litzbet may never take place in reality, or may take place at a different time with a different result.
Bets on litzbet are always settled against the simulated result shown on the event page, never against any real-world result. Nothing on the site is a prediction or tip about real sporting events, and you should not rely on it for betting elsewhere.
8. Betting rules
These rules apply to every bet placed on litzbet. Where a market description on an event page states a different rule, the market description applies.
8.1 Odds and bet types
All odds are shown in decimal format. Your potential return is your stake multiplied by the odds (or the combined odds for a multiple).
- Single: one selection on one market.
- Multiple: two or more selections from different events combined into one bet. All selections must win for the bet to win. Two selections from the same event cannot be combined in a multiple.
- System: available from 3 selections. A system bet places every combination from 2-folds up to (n−1)-folds, where n is the number of selections. Each combination is a separate line with one stake, so the total stake is the stake per line multiplied by the number of lines.
8.2 Stakes and maximum return
- The minimum stake is 1.00 PC per line.
- The maximum stake is 500.00 PC per line.
- The maximum return on any single bet is 25,000.00 PC. If a bet would return more, the return is capped at 25,000.00 PC.
8.3 Placing a bet and price changes
When you place a bet, our server checks every price on your slip again.
- If a price has improved, your bet is placed at the better price.
- If a price has dropped, the bet is not placed. Your slip shows the old and the new price, and you must accept the new price before you can place the bet.
- Markets that are paused (suspended) cannot be bet on. Selections from a suspended market stay on your slip but cannot be placed until the market reopens.
- Each bet request carries a unique key, and the same request is never accepted twice. A double-click or a repeated request cannot create two bets or take your stake twice.
A bet is accepted only when it appears in My bets. Once accepted, a bet cannot be cancelled or changed.
8.4 Settlement periods by sport
- Football: markets settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count unless the market says so.
- Ice hockey: "Regulation time result", totals and puck line settle on 60 minutes. "Winner (incl. overtime)" includes overtime and any shootout.
- Basketball: markets include overtime.
- Handball and rugby: markets settle on the full-time result.
- Tennis, volleyball, table tennis, darts and snooker: markets settle on the completed match.
- Races (cycling, motorsport): markets settle on the official finishing order. In a head-to-head market, the winner is the competitor who finished higher. "Top 3 finish" wins if the competitor finishes in the first three.
8.5 Handicaps, totals and void selections
- For Asian handicap, handicap and totals markets with a whole-number line, if the result lands exactly on the line, the selection is void and the stake is returned.
- In "Draw no bet", a draw makes the selection void and the stake is returned.
- A void selection in a multiple counts as odds of 1.00, and the rest of the bet stands. If every selection in a bet is void, the whole stake is refunded.
- In correct score markets, "Any other score" wins when the final score is none of the scores listed before kick-off.
8.6 Settlement and bet status
Bets settle automatically when the simulated event finishes. Any return is credited to your practice balance. Each bet then shows one of these statuses in My bets:
- Won: the bet won in full.
- Lost: the bet lost.
- Partial: a system bet where some, but not all, lines won.
- Void: the stake was returned.
8.7 Obvious errors
The simulated feed can occasionally produce an obvious error, such as a price that is clearly wrong or a result that does not match the event. We may correct such errors. Bets affected by a correction are resettled at the correct price or result, or voided, and you will see a note about the change in My bets.
9. Availability of the service
We aim to keep litzbet available every day, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. The feed may pause, events may be delayed and markets may be suspended at any time, for example while a price is updated or during maintenance. We may also add, change or remove sports, markets and features.
If the site is unavailable while you have open bets, those bets settle in the normal way once the event result is available.
10. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@litzbet.be or using the contact form. Please send the request from the email address linked to your account.
If you want to stop betting because of concerns about your gambling, a time-out or self-exclusion in your limits takes effect straight away and cannot be lifted early. See our Responsible Gaming page.
We may suspend or close an account if these Terms are broken, if we have reason to believe the holder is under 18, or if we stop operating the service. Records of an active self-exclusion are kept for the full exclusion period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Our liability
litzbet is a free practice service. You do not pay to use it and you cannot lose or win money on it. For that reason:
- we provide the site "as it is" and do not guarantee that it will be error-free or always available;
- we are not responsible for any loss of practice credits, since they have no value;
- we are not responsible for decisions you make elsewhere based on prices or results seen on litzbet, which are simulated.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer under Belgian law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the service or the law changes. The date and version number at the top of this page show when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies. If you keep using litzbet after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you.
13. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
If you have a complaint, please contact support first. Tell us your account email, what happened and when, and we will look into it and reply by email.
14. Contact
Email support@litzbet.be or use the contact form. Our support team is available every day from 09:00 to 23:00 Brussels time.
